BOSTON -- Brandon Duhaime scored twice and Josh Wilkins recorded three assists as No. 5 Providence College dominated Boston University, 5-0, in a Hockey East game at Agganis Arena on Friday night.
Jack Dugan and Kasper Bjorkqvist had a goal and an assist each for PC (4-1 overall, 2-0 in Hockey East). Friar goalie Hayden Hawkey posted his 10th career shutout.
BU (0-4, 0-2) was outshot 39-18.
The Friars jumped ahead on a Dugan goal 58 seconds into the game and never looked back. Wilkins and Vinnie Desharnais assisted.
Duhaime doubled PC’s lead with an unassisted goal at 6:46 of the second period.
