Former Senegal captain El Hadji Diouf has warned the Teranga Lions of opponents Togo, saying qualification for the 2022 Fifa World Cup will not come “on a silver platter.”
Senegal’s bid for the World Cup will see them face Togo, Namibia and Congo Brazzaville in Group H.
The meeting between Senegal and Togo will invoke memories of 2004 and 2005 when the Hawks beat the Teranga Lions 3-1 in Lome before a 2-2 draw in Dakar.
