Wolves face a late threat from Lyon in their bid to sign Brazilian youngster Joao Gomes from Flamengo for £15million.
The Premier League outfit believed that a deal was close to completion, after Sportsmail revealed the club had struck a £15million transfer for the midfielder.
French side Lyon, however, are keen to hijack his potential move to the Molineux by offering £2.5million more than Wolves - despite Gomes being in London with his agent.
