After his side fell just short of Champions League qualification last season, Nuno Espirito Santo outlined his vision for how Wolves would change in 2020-21.

He promised more possession, more goals and a style of play that did not rely so heavily on counter-attacks.

In the closing stages, referee Martin Atkinson checked the pitch-side monitor before showing a straight red card to Luka Milivojevic for a studs-up tackle that caught substitute Joao Moutinho flush on the ankle.
