Why Pep Guardiola cut off wi-fi at Manchester City training base

Pep Guardiola's decision to cut wi-fi inside Manchester City's training ground is thought to have come after one player was caught on his phone while having a massage.

Guardiola made the adjustment to foster team spirit, hoping his squad to concentrate on communicating with each other rather than being clued to their mobiles at the City Football Academy.

There is also limited 3G reception inside the training ground and and striker Sergio Aguero has revealed that the unorthodox move was in response to something the manager had seen.
