White Hart Lane station could be renamed 'Tottenham Hotspur'

Tottenham want to change the name of White Hart Lane station once their new ground is complete.

Spurs are keen to rebrand the London Overground hub as 'Tottenham Hotspur' in time for their first game in their regenerated home - they aim to have finished work on the 61,000-seat arena ahead of the start of the 2018-19 season.

Transport For London are believed to want £12million for the alterations but Spurs are confident of paying less.
