The Ukraine international will miss at least six months after rupturing his Achilles during the club's 1-0 loss to Tottenham on Saturday
Andriy Yarmolenko could miss the rest of the season after sustaining a serious Achilles injury during West Ham's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.
The Ukraine international, signed in a £17.5 million ($22.8m) deal from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, twisted his foot during the encounter and instantly crumpled in agony.
Yarmolenko was stretchered off and manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed after the match that the winger had sustained an ankle problem, though he was unsure on the severity of the issue.
