West Ham forward Gianluca Scamacca is edging closer to a move to Atalanta after the two sides agreed on a fee for a deal.
The forward joined the Hammers last summer in a move worth £30.5million, but he was limited to just 27 appearances in all competitions last season.
He found goals hard to come by, too, netting just eight times as he struggles for consistency in his first - and what will now be only - year with the club.
A deal worth £27.6million - a guaranteed £22.5million and £5.1million in add-ons - has been agreed with West Ham and Atalanta with personal terms not expected to be an issue and a deal to be completed soon.
