West Ham vow to get missing seats sorted out for Europa League clash after fans were forced to sit on concrete floors at Olympic Stadium

West Ham have promised to have season-ticket holders’ seats in place in time for Thursday’s Europa League game after dozens were left sitting on the floor for the Olympic Stadium’s first Premier League fixture on Sunday.

Stadium chiefs blamed ‘an error in administration’ after supporters found only concrete floors to sit on where their seats should have been at the back of the West Stand for the win over Bournemouth.

West Ham welcome Astra Giurgiu on Thursday and with tickets close to a 57,000-seat sell-out there will be an immediate rush to rectify the situation for the Europa League play-off second leg clash.
