West Ham manager Slaven Bilic wants the club to give up on bidding for superstar signings after admitting the pursuit of Alexandre Lacazette last year had a negative impact on the season.
Bilic knows his squad needs strengthening following a disappointing campaign in which the Hammers struggled to cope with a move to the London Stadium and lost Dimitri Payet when he forced through a move back to Marseille in January, however talk of looking for a superstar replacement makes him nervous.
'We are not looking at that level, take out those,' he said. 'We are not looking for the Griezmanns.
