The defender has been given another offer by the club, who are desperate to retain the services of the highly-rated 19-year-old
West Ham have offered Declan Rice a fresh contract that could be worth over £40,000 per week, Goal can confirm.
The versatile midfielder, who can also play as a defender, has enjoyed a fine start to the season, but turned down the club's initial offer of a basic £15,000 per week, already a major raise on his current £2,500-per-week deal.
Rice's international future has also been the subject of much speculation, as he looks to decide between Republic of Ireland and England.
