West Ham successfully appeal against red card handed to Sofiane Feghouli

Sofiane Feghouli has been spared a three-match ban after the Football Association overturned his controversial red card against Manchester United.

Feghouli was dismissed just 15 minutes into the clash at the London Stadium on Monday by referee Mike Dean following a collision with United defender Phil Jones.

The Hammers quickly appealed against Dean's decision, which drew widespread criticism from pundits and fans, and their vice-chair Lady Brady revealed on Wednesday that the FA have now wiped off the red card.
