Alvaro Arbeloa has become West Ham's 12th signing of the transfer window, joining the London club on a one-year contract.
West Ham has completed the signing of defender Alvaro Arbeloa on a one-year deal.
The fullback makes the move to the London Stadium having been released by Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Arbeloa, who won La Liga and two UEFA Champions League crowns in his time in Madrid, previously had a spell in the Premier League with Liverpool.
The 33-year-old also enjoyed World Cup glory with Spain in 2010 and was part of the squads that emerged victorious at Euro 2008 and Euro 2012.
