West Ham are ready to step up their interest in Russia striker Fyodor Smolov after watching him score his 12th goal of the season on Sunday.
The £15million-rated Krasnodar forward scored the decisive goal in his side's 1-0 triumph away to Ural Sver Oblast.
It was his 12th goal in 14 games for club and country this season and that has alerted Bundesliga sides Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen too who are both keen on the Russia captain.
Smolov is destined to lead his country at the World Cup this summer but is open to a move from Krasnodar in January.
