West Bromwich Albion know January will be their last chance to cash in on Saido Berahino but the club outcast is still intending to see out his contract.
The Baggies were asking for about £25 million before the season started and Sportsmail was told by one club owner that they were not the only ones scared off by the high asking price.
Stoke City, West Ham and Crystal Palace were among those to show an interest in Berahino, who has already turned down extending his contract with West Brom.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis recently reiterated his desire to tie him down to a new deal but that is unlikely.
