'Wenger will leave Arsenal if the season ends badly'

The Gunners are nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, and former midfielder Ray Parlour feels a bad season could see the manager leave

A bad end to the season for Arsenal could lead to Arsene Wenger leaving the club, Ray Parlour believes.

A 2-1 defeat to Watford on Tuesday leaves Arsenal sitting nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, who drew 1-1 with Liverpool.

After former Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul and Troy Deeney gave Watford a 2-0 lead at the Emirates just 13 minutes into the game, Alex Iwobi popped up with a goal for the north London side, though the hosts could do nothing to pull level.
