Watford are on the brink of the double signing of defender Younes Kaboul and midfielder Roberto Pereyra.
Both players will have medicals on Friday after fees were agreed with Sunderland and Juventus respectively.
Kaboul, 30, moved to Sunderland from Spurs in 2015 and has the club he wants to leave for personal reasons.
Watford will pay a club record fee for Argentina international Pereyra, more than the £12.5m they paid Granada for striker Isaac Success this summer.
Before joining Juventus, initially on loan, in 2014, Pereyra played for Udinese, the Italian club owned by the Pozzo family, who also own Watford.
