Former AFC Leopards midfielder Francis Xavier has claimed a move to Italy would have been the best for Victor Wanyama before retiring.
Wanyama, who left Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, joined Canada's Major Soccer League side Montreal Impact, after more than 10 years in the European leagues.
Xavier states the Harambee Stars captain should have considered a move to Serie A before deciding to retire or not.
