Gor Mahia will be awarded a walkover in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) for the first time this season after Mount Kenya United refused to honour their fixture on Thursday.
Mount Kenya United players were stranded at Nairobi City Stadium just hours before the kick-off at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos and eventually failed travel.
One of the players who did not want to be named confirmed why the team did not travel to Machakos where the match was scheduled to be played.
