Mathare United came from a goal down to force a 2-2 draw with Vihiga United in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played on Sunday.
It took the hosts just eight minutes to find the back of the net through a set piece. The 2008 league champions gave away an easy free-kick just outside the 18-yard area, Lawrence Luganda rose for the occasion to give his side a lead.
The goal was a wake-up call for the Francis Kimanzi led side but Vihiga United looked solid at the back ensuring the ball is not played in their third.
