Manchester United are hoping to jump ahead of Real Madrid in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, according to the Mirror .
The Brazilian had a successful first year in Paris cut short due to a foot injury, and reports have linked him with a move back to La Liga to join Los Blancos.
However, United are prepared to offer £200 million ($270m/€226m) for his services and hope their relationship with Neymar’s father will help facilitate a deal.
