Transfer boost for Chelsea as Alex Sandro airs desire to play in the Premier League

Juventus defender Alex Sandro has revealed he wants to play in the Premier League in the future.

The Brazil international has established himself as one of the world's best left-backs since arriving at Juve from Porto in 2015.

Fresh from helping Juventus secure the domestic double and a place in the Champions League final in 2016/17, Sandro was courted by Chelsea that summer.

Goal understands the left-back was keen to team up with then-Blues boss Antonio Conte with a €70 million (£62m/$80m) offer on the table.

Sandro remained in Turin, however, with Juve having already let Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci leave for Paris Saint-Germain and Milan respectively.
