Tottenham are set to make a formal approach to discuss their managerial vacancy with Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou this week.
Postecoglou, who clinched the Scottish domestic Treble on Saturday, is a leading contender for the Tottenham head coach's job.
Spurs want to formally discuss the position with the Australian and if talks are positive, the Premier League side hope to be in a position to offer him the job in the coming days.
Postecoglou is understood to be open to taking the Spurs job and is now in a strong position to take the reins ahead of next season.
