Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino still in the dark over length of Harry Kane absence with ankle injury prognosis delayed by swelling

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he is still unsure how long Harry Kane will be out injured as his ankle swelling remains too severe for an accurate scan.

An initial test on Monday revealed ligament damage but Pochettino claims he will need another scan next week before they can ascertain the seriousness of the problem.

Kane suffered the injury against Sunderland last Sunday, but Pochettino said they still needed ‘a few days’ before they can do a second scan as the swelling on the joint is too significant.
