Tottenham are closing on a deal for Blackburn Rovers' highly promising centre back Ashley Phillips.
The 17-year old has already broken into Rovers' first team and has been followed by Spurs since last season.
Director of football Fabio Paratici is expected to be at Rovers game at Reading tonight ahead of giving a move the green light.
