Tottenham have become the latest club to join the football drive in China as they announced a year-long initiative to develop the game at grassroots level in the Asian country.
Spurs' global coaching team will use the same techniques as at the club's north London academy to provide 42 physical education teachers an insight into coaching at the elite level.
In turn those newly-trained teachers will work with 8,000 primary and middle school students in Guangzhou.
'We understand the importance of football development in China and, given our track record,' Tottenham's head of global coaching, Grant Cornwell, told the club's website.
