Tottenham have confirmed that Ivan Perisic has suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in his right knee.
The midfielder came off the bench for Tottenham and played a vital role in the club's comeback against Sheffield United on Saturday, but he will now undergo surgery and likely miss the rest of the season.
The club posted on X that the Croatia international picked up the injury in non-contract training ahead of the club's game against Arsenal in the north London derby this weekend.
Perisic, 34, was a key member of Antonio Conte's side last season, regularly featuring at wing back in a Spurs side that finished eighth in the Premier League.
