Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton was forced off in the first half against Crystal Palace on Sunday after suffering a shoulder injury.
The England international landed awkwardly on his shoulder after claiming a ball in the air and was substituted in the 36th minute.
Substitute shot-stopper Nick Pope took his place in the Burnley goal at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon with his side 1-0 in front.
