Timo Werner has revealed he has found it difficult to adapt to the intensity and physicality of the Premier League.

The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in the summer for £53m from RB Leipzig, having scored 28 Bundesliga goals last season in just 34 appearances.

However, the German striker has admitted that the confidence he arrived in England with has taken a hit over the last few months and he has been surprised by the challenges he has faced.
