'They are monsters!': European papers hail Manchester City's dazzling 4-0 win over Real Madrid... with Bernardo Silva singled out for his brace in thrashing which set up Champions League final with Inter

European newspapers have hailed Manchester City as 'monsters' after their 4-0 hammering of Real Madrid on Wednesday night to reach the Champions League final on June 10.

Following a 1-1 draw in Spain last week, the hosts took control at the Etihad, with Bernardo Silva scoring a first-half brace to put the Premier League leaders clear.

Manuel Akanji made it 3-0 with quarter of an hour remaining, before substitute Julian Alvarez finished the job in injury time.

The win takes Manchester City to their second Champions League final in three years, where they will face Inter Milan in Istanbul.
