Tottenham legend Teddy Sheringham has ripped into the club for sacking Antonio Conte without having a serious replacement lined up.
Conte left the club last month following his now infamous verbal attack against his players following their 3-3 draw with Southampton, with Daniel Levy opting to place his assistant Christian Stellini in temporary charge.
Things didn't improve under the guidance of Stellini however, as he was sacked on Monday following their humiliating 6-1 loss to top-four rivals Newcastle at the weekend.
Sheringham, who scored 124 goals for Tottenham across two spells at the club between 1992 and 2003, has told talkSPORT that the club's decision to sack Conte and replace him with his assistant was 'ludicrous'.
