Mohamed Elneny has expressed his gratitude for the support received after he suffered an injury in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over West Ham United on Sunday.
The 25-year-old was forced off in the first-half of the encounter following a challenge from Mark Noble.
Mohamed Salah, Ahmed Hegazi, Ahmed Elmohamady, Amr Gamal and former Egypt international Ahmed Mido have since sent messages of encouragement to the midfielder, with fans also following the gesture.
On Monday, the Emirates Stadium outfit confirmed that Elneny suffered ankle ligament damage, though they are hopeful he will be back to fitness before the end of the season, thus, allaying fears that he could miss the World Cup.
