The Colombia international misses out with a hip problem while Pep Guardiola has opted for Fernandinho in midfield over Yaya Toure
Monaco are without star striker Radamel Falcao for the second leg of their Champions League clash against Manchester City.
The forward suffered a hip injury against Bordeaux on Saturday, and despite hopes he would at least be fit enough to make the bench against City, he is not included in the 18-man squad.
City, meanwhile, have opted for Fernandinho over Yaya Toure in central midfield while Aleksander Kolarov partners John Stones at the heart of defence.
