Paul Clement believes Gylfi Sigurdsson's painful experience at Tottenham could persuade him to stay at Swansea.
Sigurdsson has been one of the Premier League's star performers this season with nine assists and 13 goals in a struggling Swansea team - a combined total only matched by Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
Everton, West Ham and Premier League new boys Newcastle have been strongly linked with a summer move for Sigurdsson, who joined Swansea from Spurs in July 2014.
That was on the back of a disappointing spell at Spurs where Sigurdsson was often played out of position and completed 90 minutes in only nine of his 58 league appearances.
