Swansea City have the character for relegation scrap, claims Leon Britton

Leon Britton believes Swansea's victory over relegation rivals Sunderland shows they possess the fighting spirit to safeguard their Premier League status.

Swansea started the game in 20th place and many questioned whether Bob Bradley's side had the stomach for a fight after conceding nine goals in two games.

But second-half goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente - his second successive double at home - secured a 3-0 win and took the hosts out of the relegation zone while sending Sunderland to the foot of the table.
