Coach Alan Curtis has called on Swansea City's board to show support for under-fire manager Francesco Guidolin.
Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool has intensified the pressure on the Italian.
Guidolin is the odds on favourite to be the next Premier League boss to leave his post but Curtis believes the hierarchy need to get behind Guidolin.
"It would be nice, not a back or sack him, but to have some sort of support," said Curtis.
"That's up to the board."
Swansea have been left hovering above the relegation places on goal difference and have just one Premier League win this season.
