Stoke lead the race to sign Babou Ndiaye after making £14m bid for Galatasaray midfielder

Stoke City have made a £14million bid for Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

The Senegal international was left out of Saturday's game against Osmanlispor after pleading with the club management to let him leave amid interest from Stoke City and other clubs.

A Galatasaray statement read: 'Badou Ndiaye has received offers from clubs overseas. Badou has been removed from the squad set to face Osmanlispor as he is currently distracted from his on field duties by the transfer talks.'
