Stoke City 2-0 Watford: Ryan Shawcross and Peter Crouch give Mark Hughes' men welcome home win

Mark Hughes' Stoke City beat Walter Mazzarri's Watford 2-0 at the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Ryan Shawcross and Peter Crouch.

The Potters' captain Shawcross gave the home side the lead three minutes into first-half injury time. Crouch then scored in successive Premier League games for the first time since February 2015.

Crouch hit a right-footed shot from the centre of the box into the bottom left corner in the 49th minute.
