Everton have announced Steven Pienaar as its first international ambassador.
The 36-year-old has been tasked with an ambassadorial role in supporting activities and building the image of the Merseyside outfit across the globe.
During his two stints with the Toffees, the former South Africa international made over 200 appearances with 25 goals to his name.

Pienaar who called time on his football career in February after a short spell with Bidvest Wits, expressed delight with his new role at the club.
