Steve Mounie received his first red card since his switch to the Premier League as Huddersfield Town suffered a 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
The 24-year-old making his 13th league appearance was sent off in the 32nd minute for a serious foul play on Yves Bissouma.
Mathias Jorgensen had given David Wagner’s men the lead barely a minute into the encounter to set them on the path of victory.
However, after they were reduced to 10 men, Brighton capitalised on their numerical advantage as Shane Duffy levelled in the 45th minute. Florin Andone then scored the winner for Chris Hughton’s men.
