Steve Cooper paid a touching tribute to young Nottingham Forest fan Caiden Storry who was left distraught when he did not complete a rendition of The Last Post at the City Ground on Sunday.

Caiden, who is 16, was playing the tune on trumpet as part of Forest’s Remembrance Day ceremony but was unable to finish it.

He was consoled by players from Forest and Aston Villa shortly before kick-off and clearly upset when Cooper gave him a hug on the touchline and some words of encouragement.

Now Forest plan to invite Caiden to their training ground to meet the players.
