The Premier League is currently grappling with how to complete the current campaign, and how to approach the next few months with an eye on next season amid the current coronavirus crisis.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to give an update on lockdown restrictions in the UK on Sunday, May 10.
It is expected the Premier League will reconvene next Monday therefore in order to adapt plans to the new measures in place, as they push forward with 'Project Restart'.
All 20 clubs will also hold a meeting this Friday to discuss the specifics of how matches will take place behind closed doors, with the concept of 'neutral hubs' to complete the season being met with opposition in some quarters so far.
