Spurs boss Postecoglou 'responsible' for injuries

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou says he bears responsibility for the injury crisis that has blighted the club's season but insists they are in a stronger position since he took over 18 months ago.

The Australian's training methods and style of play have come under question this season after muscle injuries sustained by key players such as Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie.

Spurs have won just one of their past 10 Premier League matches, which has seen the club drop to 15th in the table.

Asked why the period has been so difficult, Postecoglou said: "It's just injuries.
