Southampton undecided on Sofiane Boufal's future

Southampton will 're-evaluate' Sofiane Boufal at the end of his Celta Vigo loan spell, club chairman Ralph Krueger disclosed.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed improved playing time in Spain this term after falling out of favour under Mark Hughes in the second part of last season.

The Moroccan winger flouted the manager's orders to warm up in Southampton's 3-2 loss to Chelsea in April and was consequently demoted to train with youth team for the rest of the campaign.

Despite Celta Vigo's struggles in the Spanish top-flight, Boufal has provided two goals and an assist in 18 league outings.
