Manolo Gabbiadini will return to the Southampton squad when they face Manchester City on Saturday evening, according to manager Claude Puel.
Gabbiadini has been sidelined with a groin problem and has missed Saints' last three games - two wins and a draw - but is likely to play a part this weekend.
Speaking to Southampton's website, Puel said: 'He is likely to come back into the squad and we will see if he can start, or perhaps come on in the second-half of the game.
'We will wait to see this in tomorrow's [Friday] training session.
