Nottingham Forest recorded their first away Premier League win of the season as they beat bottom-of-the-table Southampton to move out of the relegation zone.
Forest had only scored one league goal away from home before this match but were gifted a 27th-minute lead.
Lyanco carelessly lost possession on the halfway line with Brennan Johnson capitalising and racing clear before he pulled it back for Taiwo Awoniyi, who buried the chance.
Southampton are in their 11th successive top-flight campaign but have now only won once in 13 in the league since beating Chelsea 2-1 on 30 August.
