Sofapaka bounced back from last weekend's loss to Tusker by defeating Bandari 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Kenyatta Stadium.
Goals from Peter Lwassa and Brian Nyakan gave the hosts maximum points, with William Wadri getting the consolation for his team.
Batoto ba Mungu opened the scoring in the 5th minute when a precise long pass from the back was well controlled by Peter Lwassa. The striker controlled the ball wonderfully with his first touch, before slotting it past the rushing custodian.
In the 20th minute, the Dockers created a chance from the right, but the cross by Abdallah Hassan was not well connected by Ugandan attacker Wadri who was marked by two defenders.
