Simon Jordan warns Man United to 'be careful' with Elon Musk and claims the £157bn Telsa and Twitter owner is monitoring their £4.5bn sale because he's after 'INFLUENCE'

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has warned Manchester United fans that Elon Musk would be after influence should he launch a bid for the club.

The tech-billionaire is believed to be monitoring Manchester United's ongoing sale closely ahead of Friday’s deadline to submit bids.

Musk is ranked by Forbes as the second-richest in the world and owns Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan claimed Musk would be seeking to further his own influence should he bid for the club and would not necessarily be the owner supporters crave.
