Ex-Real Madrid star Bale shocked the world as he announced his sudden retirement from football on Monday afternoon - calling an end to his illustrious playing career which saw him win a total of 17 trophies.
Kane, on the other hand, has neither retired nor won a trophy yet. It's certainly not too late for him to achieve the latter, though the window of opportunity is closing.
