Sheffield United's Lys Mousset has been charged with driving offences after a collision involving his orange Lamborghini Aventador.
The 25-year-old striker is due to appear in court in June accused of driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called out to a road in Sheffield just after midnight on January 4 with Mousset's car badly damaged in the middle of the road and a number of parked vehicles hit.
The charges come at a terrible time for the Blades who are bottom of the Premier League with their manager Chris Wilder having left the club on Saturday night, less than 24 hours ahead of their Premier League encounter at Leicester City.
